Job Summary

Supporting provider enrollment and credentialing activities for healthcare practitioners, the remote contract Credentialing Specialist will manage credentialing processes, validate qualifications, and maintain comprehensive provider files while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage credentialing activities from initial intake through renewals and reappointments for healthcare providers
• Examine licenses, certifications, and educational records to confirm accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organized provider information within a secure web-based credentialing platform

Required qualifications

• Prior experience in medical credentialing, provider enrollment, or healthcare administration
• Working knowledge of credentialing processes, including initial and re-credentialing
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy in reviewing sensitive records
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and credentialing regulations is preferred
• Comfortable using web-based systems and databases in a structured setting
