Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time Credentialing Specialist will independently manage end-to-end credentialing and recredentialing processes for physicians and advanced practice providers, working remotely within the DFW area.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage credentialing and recredentialing for providers across various healthcare settings
- Coordinate documentation and oversee delegated credentialing processes to ensure compliance with NCQA and contractual requirements
- Prepare and maintain Medicare and Medicaid enrollment applications, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in provider credentialing and enrollment
- Experience with delegated credentialing and accreditation audits
- CPCS - Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist certification preferred upon hire
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA, URAC, and CMS
