Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

To support timely provider onboarding and patient care coverage, the full-time remote Credentialing Specialist will manage compliance with regulatory standards, process application packages for healthcare providers, and maintain accurate verification of licenses and certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and membership-based organizations
• Process initial and re-appointment application packages for providers using MD-Staff
• Collaborate with medical staff offices to monitor and update provider licenses and malpractice insurances

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging experience preferred
• General understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in using electronic mail, word processing, data entry, and spreadsheets
