Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Behavioral Health division, the full-time Credentialing Specialist will manage enrollment and re-credentialing applications, serve as a primary liaison for contracting and credentialing, and maintain detailed logs of work while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Complete enrollment/credentialing and re-credentialing applications for individual providers and group practices
• Act as the subject matter expert and primary liaison for contracting and enrollment, ensuring clear communication on project tasks and deadlines
• Research and resolve claim issues related to physician enrollment and maintain documentation within the enrollment database

Required qualifications

• Proven experience managing credentialing processes across multiple states for healthcare providers
• Experience in medical billing and healthcare provider relations
• Strong familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid programs
• Professional demeanor with a self-starter attitude and strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
