Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely full-time, the Credentialing and Enrollment Specialist will manage the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities:

• Process provider applications and re-applications, ensuring high quality standards are maintained
• Perform internal audits on credentialing files to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Coordinate with medical staff and external auditors to review credentialing documentation and maintain current licensure and certifications

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3+ years of experience in Healthcare Provider group/Facility Credentialing
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration or medical staff services
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work Pacific time zone hours
