Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Credentialing Specialist will ensure the verification of professional licensing, training, and certifications for healthcare professionals, while managing credentialing processes and maintaining compliance with federal and state standards.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and verify confidential data to assist in the decision-making process for healthcare providers
• Process and maintain credentialing and re-credentialing files, offering solutions for workflow improvements
• Perform primary source verification and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Required qualifications

• Experience with Primary Source Verification and related databases
• Recent working experience in healthcare credentialing within a hospital or similar setting
• Preferred certification as a CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) by NAMSS
