Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the credentialing process for clinical providers, the full-time Credentialing Specialist will manage applications, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and maintain detailed records, with the option to work remotely or onsite in Austin.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and submitting credentialing and enrollment applications for physicians and payors
• Monitor application statuses and follow up with payors to ensure timely processing
• Maintain and update credentialing databases and records for accurate tracking of provider enrollments

Required qualifications

• Credentialing experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• For Credentialing Specialist II: 3 years of credentialing experience and 1 year of healthcare experience
• For Credentialing Specialist III: Minimum 4 years of experience in credentialing and/or licensing
• Proficiency in managing CAQH profiles and understanding state licensure application processes
