Job Summary
Supporting the credentialing process for clinical providers, the full-time Credentialing Specialist will manage applications, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and maintain detailed records, with the option to work remotely or onsite in Austin.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and submitting credentialing and enrollment applications for physicians and payors
- Monitor application statuses and follow up with payors to ensure timely processing
- Maintain and update credentialing databases and records for accurate tracking of provider enrollments
Required qualifications
- Credentialing experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- For Credentialing Specialist II: 3 years of credentialing experience and 1 year of healthcare experience
- For Credentialing Specialist III: Minimum 4 years of experience in credentialing and/or licensing
- Proficiency in managing CAQH profiles and understanding state licensure application processes
