Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a client in Dallas, TX, the Credentialing Specialist will work remotely on a contract basis, ensuring clinicians successfully complete the credentialing process by managing applications, performing primary source verifications, and maintaining the credentialing database in compliance with relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process credentialing and re-credentialing files to ensure compliance with NCQA policies
• Maintain a system for timely processing of credentialing files and verify providers' requirements for approval
• Assemble verified information and prepare files for presentation to the Credentialing Committee

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a credentialing role or department
• Intermediate skills with Google Suites
• Familiarity with NCQA accreditation standards
• Ability to build rapport and productive relationships with stakeholders
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
