Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

Managing hospital facility credentialing and provider enrollment processes, the full-time Credentialing Specialist will ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the credentialing and re-credentialing process for providers across multiple states
• Manage provider enrollment tasks and prepare reports to ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards
• Perform Primary Source verification and maintain organized credential files for medical staff

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred experience in IONM or OON
• Preferred certification from NAMSS, CPCS, or CPMSM
• Familiarity with various medical credentialing verification sites
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office skills
