Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting credentialing and recredentialing activities for healthcare providers, the full-time Credentialing Specialist will ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements through accurate data management and primary source verification in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process initial credentialing applications and reappointment files, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
• Perform primary source verification activities in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements
• Monitor provider licenses and credentials to ensure timely renewals and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare-related role preferred
• Basic understanding of provider credentialing and healthcare compliance standards
• Experience working with credentialing software and databases
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
