Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Revenue Cycle Department, the remote Credentialing Specialist will manage provider credentialing processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with licensure policies while working independently in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Follow and maintain credentialing and clinic licensure policies and protocols
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date reports on the credentialing status of providers
• Process applications, verify information, and maintain provider data in the credentialing database

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of billing and credentialing experience
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA standards of operations
• Familiarity with major payer portals and CAQH management
• Ability to use technology effectively for the role
• Access to consistent, high-speed internet
