Job Summary
To support the Managed Care Team, the full-time Credentialing and Support Specialist will manage all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing for various locations, ensuring compliance with regulations and acting as a liaison with health plan partners while working remotely from North Carolina or Florida.
Key responsibilities
- Guarantees compliance with policies and regulations for credentialing and re-credentialing applications
- Coordinates with Legal, HR, and Compliance Departments to verify and document necessary information
- Maintains the credentialing management database and supports the Contracting team with administrative tasks and special projects
Required qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of facility credentialing and contracting experience in Senior Living/Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to learn new software quickly
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Demonstrated professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of credentialing concepts, practices, and procedures
