Credit Analyst

Job Summary

Building and maintaining relationships with dealers, the remote Credit Analyst I will process credit applications, evaluate credit risk, and develop underwriting skills while achieving volume and quality goals.

Key responsibilities

• Process new loan applications and gather data to assess credit risk
• Underwrite in accordance with company policies and procedures while communicating with dealers to resolve issues
• Collaborate with management to enhance underwriting skills and maintain knowledge of compliance and lending regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, communication, marketing, or related field OR 2 years' experience in underwriting or lending
• Professional phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
