Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Balance/Cash Research Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify the root cause of issues with medical claims to ensure proper reimbursement
Handle outstanding credit balances and refunding payers
Determine the correct reimbursement methodology and work on complex claims

Required Qualifications:

Training will be in person for 3-5 weeks, and then the employee can move to work remotely from home afterwards
3+ years of experience in cash applications, payment posting, credit/balance analysis, or overpayments
Experience with insurance carriers and knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
Must have reliable WIFI and a professional working space within their home
