Credit Balance Cash Research Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Balance/Cash Research Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify the root cause of issues with medical claims to ensure proper reimbursement
• Handle outstanding credit balances and refunding payers
• Determine the correct reimbursement methodology and work on complex claims

Required Qualifications:

• Training will be in person for 3-5 weeks, and then the employee can move to work remotely from home afterwards
• 3+ years of experience in cash applications, payment posting, credit/balance analysis, or overpayments
• Experience with insurance carriers and knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
• Must have reliable WIFI and a professional working space within their home
