Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Balance Specialist-HB.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve credit balances through various internal reports and requests
• Research refund requests and provide accurate disputes when necessary
• Monitor accounts for timely follow-up and payment to maximize cash receipts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payors
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
• Familiarity with collection procedures and coding (ICS-9 and CPT)
