Credit Balance Specialist

Job Summary

Managing credit balance workloads, the full-time Credit Balance Specialist will resolve credit balances, process refund requests, and respond to inquiries, with the option to work hybrid or fully remote based on geographic location.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately resolve credit balances and process internal and external refund requests
• Identify trends and escalate issues appropriately while maintaining clear account notes
• Research and respond to patient inquiries and resolve accounting discrepancies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma / GED
• 1-3+ years of experience in healthcare, insurance, business, finance, or customer service
• Working knowledge of insurance claims, billing, coding, finance, or accounting responsibilities
