Credit Balances Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Balances Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure credit balances are resolved within legal and time limits to prevent revenue loss
• Track and trend daily credit balance movement and average time to resolve an account
• Manage work queue volume resolution and escalate issues for timely resolution

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
• 5 years' experience in revenue cycle, healthcare, banking or finance, or cash applications in a healthcare system or large financial services organization
• 3 years' experience in a leadership role
• Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA, CMS, EMTALA, JC rules and regulations, healthcare revenue cycle, payor requirements, insurance remittance advice, cash management, reimbursement, contracting, general ledger, and government payment regulation and incentive programs
