Job Summary

Seeking experienced Chief Financial Officers with a deep credit background, the remote contract opportunity allows advisors to provide strategic, project-based leadership in financial operations, reporting, and business planning for credit-focused hedge funds and alternative managers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management while improving financial processes
• Audit finance and operations functions, enhancing data integrity and operational transparency
• Advise on systems and automation, partnering with senior leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives

Required qualifications

• Prior experience as a Chief Financial Officer or equivalent senior finance leadership role in a credit-focused environment
• Deep credit background, including knowledge of restructurings and corporate actions
• Hands-on knowledge of Bloomberg AIM as an order management system
• Experience building and scaling finance and operations platforms in growth-focused firms
• Strong understanding of fund structures, investment operations, and financial infrastructure
