Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Policy Specialist responsible for developing, writing, and publishing credit guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a governance framework to assess credit and operational risk for product changes
• Develop and revise lending technical documentation, including policies and procedures
• Act as a subject matter expert on credit policy topics and serve as the primary contact for internal inquiries

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 7-10 years of experience in mortgage underwriting
• Deep knowledge of agency, government, Non-QM, and Jumbo loan products
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
• Demonstrated integrity in handling confidential information
