Credit Processor

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time Credit Processor will research, analyze, and resolve undistributed and credit transactions within the EPIC system while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process undistributed and credit transactions through assigned work queues, ensuring accurate verification of insurance and patient information
• =97% accuracy rate on audit reviews
• Review and process insurance refund request letters and manage returned refunds for resolution

Required qualifications

• High school diploma and one year of revenue cycle work experience
• Prior experience in account analysis, credit resolution, billing, or insurance follow-up in a healthcare setting
• Working knowledge of insurance payor remittances and the EPIC system is preferred
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Dependable, team-focused, and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
