Job Summary
Overseeing first-line credit underwriting and portfolio management, the full-time Credit Products Manager will lead a team of underwriters and credit professionals, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and business objectives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintains visibility and knowledge of bank relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Proactively identifies and escalates areas for improvement in credit processes, policies, and procedures
- Collaborates with Sales, Credit Products, and Risk teams to drive responsible growth and optimize credit decisioning
Required qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 12+ years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management, and risk management within the financial industry
- 5+ years of experience managing teams of credit analysts and underwriters
- Expertise in credit bureaus, credit decision engines, and credit modeling for underwriting
- Strong knowledge of federal and state laws related to credit decisions
