Credit Risk Analyst

Job Summary

To support the safety of merchant transactions, the remote Credit Risk Analyst will investigate merchant behavior and transaction patterns, utilizing analytical skills and AI tools to identify and mitigate credit risks while ensuring legitimate businesses continue to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor trends in caseload to identify and prevent merchant credit risk losses
• Assess the impact of business model characteristics and economic conditions on merchant risk profiles
• Communicate directly with merchants to address concerns and explain decisions clearly

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in risk analysis, underwriting, payments, e-commerce, or a related analytical role
• Solid understanding of merchant credit risk concepts and data analysis
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools like Google Sheets or Excel
• Curiosity about different business models and their associated risk profiles
• Comfort working in ambiguity and applying good judgment in decision-making
