Job Summary
To support the expansion of credit access, the full-time remote Credit Risk Analyst will analyze credit policy performance, monitor portfolio credit performance, and conduct tradeoff analyses to inform strategic decision-making in consumer lending.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze credit policy performance, including approval rates and decision distributions, to optimize automated decisioning rules
- Produce credit performance reports and track metrics such as early payment defaults and delinquency emergence
- Model tradeoffs between approval rates and expected loss rates to support risk appetite decisions and pricing strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- 3-5 years of experience in credit risk analytics, underwriting analytics, or portfolio analytics, preferably in consumer lending
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) in a professional analytics environment
- Experience with credit policy analysis and loss forecasting
- Strong understanding of consumer lending products and credit risk metrics
