Job Summary
Focused on managing credit exposure, the full-time Credit Risk Analyst will perform diligence and underwriting for institutional counterparties, recommend risk-based limits, and monitor portfolio exposures in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct diligence and underwriting of institutional counterparties, including hedge funds and private equity firms
- Prepare written analysis to recommend internal credit ratings and risk-based limits for senior leadership review
- Monitor portfolio exposures and communicate concentration trends and settlement risks to leadership
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of credit risk management experience, particularly in counterparty underwriting or portfolio monitoring
- Experience with institutional clients such as hedge funds and asset managers
- Knowledge of capital markets products and standard industry documentation
- Ability to produce clear written credit memos and present risk recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in building quantitative credit models and exposure analyses using analytical tools
