Job Summary
Owning the credit analysis for complex counterparties, the full-time Credit Risk Analyst will conduct diligence and underwriting of institutional clients while monitoring portfolio exposures in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct diligence and underwriting of institutional counterparties, including hedge funds and private equity firms
- Recommend internal credit ratings and risk-based limits, preparing written analyses for senior leadership review
- Monitor portfolio exposures and communicate concentration trends and settlement risks to leadership
Required qualifications:
- 1-3 years of credit risk management experience, including counterparty underwriting or portfolio monitoring
- Experience with institutional clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, or venture capital firms
- Working knowledge of capital markets products and standard industry documentation
- Ability to produce clear written credit memos and present risk recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in building quantitative credit models and exposure analyses using analytical tools
