Credit Risk Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Risk Lead to evaluate and manage credit risk across high-exposure verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting of complex, high-risk merchant applications ensuring alignment with risk appetite and policy
• Exercise credit approval authority and review analyst recommendations for consistency and quality
• Perform end-to-end credit analysis, including financial statement review and evaluation of key credit risk drivers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in credit underwriting, risk management, or a related field
• Experience in environments with defined risk appetite and credit decision frameworks
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience improving underwriting processes or risk frameworks in a scalable environment
