Credit Services Specialist

Job Summary

Assisting customers through financial difficulties, the full-time remote Credit Services Specialist will contact delinquent customers, manage collection activities, and recommend actions for account resolutions during specified shifts, including occasional Saturdays.

Key responsibilities:

• Contact delinquent customers by telephone or mail to collect past due payments or arrange alternative payment plans
• Establish and maintain files related to collection activities and perform basic skip tracing to locate customers
• Recommend management action regarding repossessions, bankruptcy, and foreclosure based on account analysis

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated
• Comfortable using a computer and keyboard
• Effective communication skills over the phone
