Credit Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Underwriter - Floorplan Financing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review incoming applications for completeness and analyze supporting documentation to assess credit risk
• Manage pending applications and communicate approvals while maintaining organized deal files
• Collaborate with internal teams and sales representatives to provide updates and address inquiries

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably in the automotive or floorplan financing industry
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting credit reports and financial statements
• Strong understanding of UCC filings and secured lending practices
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and dealership operations is a plus
