Credit Underwriter II

Job Summary

Providing critical support in the Credit and Underwriting department, the full-time remote Credit Underwriter II will process credit applications, analyze credit reports, and create detailed credit packages for syndication while ensuring effective communication with internal departments and funding partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review credit reports and prepare submission packets to meet funding partner approval requirements
• Analyze credit factors to determine approval or denial potential and address documentation needs
• Document credit decisions in Salesforce and follow up with funding sources to ensure all necessary items are received

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the finance industry, preferably in credit or commercial underwriting
• Experience with syndication partnerships and processing loan packets is highly desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
