Credits Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing the daily operations of the Refunds department, the full-time remote Credits Supervisor will manage staff training, credit balance inventory, and process improvements while ensuring timely resolution of refund requests for patients and insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervises and trains staff, conducts performance appraisals, and coordinates work assignments
• Manages credit balance inventory to ensure timely resolution of refund requests
• Tracks trends for enhancements and monitors employee metrics for quality audits

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Two years of experience with medical Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and credit balance management
• One year of experience posting medical payments to billing
• Six months of supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and large datasets
