Job Summary

Seeking part-time Criminal Defense Attorneys for a remote contract position, who will provide legal support on civil rights matters, prepare and review legal documents, and engage directly with clients and law enforcement via video conferencing.

Key responsibilities

• Providing legal support regarding basic civil rights matters
• Preparing and reviewing legal documents
• Engaging with clients and law enforcement through video conferencing

Required qualifications

• Membership, in good standing, of at least one US State Bar
• Background practicing criminal law defense
• Interest in federal civil rights and constitutional law
• Private, dedicated workspace and laptop with internet and video capabilities
• Ability to commit to a fixed work schedule for the first 30 days of the assignment
