Criminal Justice Course Instructor

Job Summary

In a part-time capacity, the Criminal Justice Course Instructor will conduct online courses, engage with students, and ensure course delivery aligns with university standards while contributing to student retention efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 8-week online courses and actively engage with students to support their success
• Provide timely feedback on student assignments and maintain accurate grading records
• Participate in retention efforts by reporting student engagement concerns to the Academic Success Office

Required qualifications

• Terminal degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Criminal Justice
• 5+ years of current industry experience
• Minimum of two years of online higher education teaching experience
• Strong experience with Blackboard and Canvas learning management systems
