Job Summary
Teaching online undergraduate courses, the part-time Criminal Law Adjunct Faculty will facilitate modules on criminal law, court procedures, and privacy law while mentoring students in legal applications and integrating a Christian worldview into discussions.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate online course modules for ICA-130, ICA-140, and ICA-150
- Guide students in applying statutory definitions and constitutional protections
- Mentor students in preparing analytic products for judicial settings and expert testimony
Required qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Law, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field; JD preferred
- 3-5 years of professional experience in the legal system, such as a practicing attorney, judge, or senior intelligence officer
- Expertise in constitutional law, rules of evidence, surveillance law, and privacy frameworks
- Demonstrated knowledge of online educational delivery tools and teaching abilities
- Strong Christian commitment and adherence to the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement
