Job Summary
To support upcoming research projects, the part-time Crisis Analysis Consultant will design qualitative research, conduct key informant interviews, and synthesize findings into publication-level reports, focusing on humanitarian cash programming, particularly in the Yemen context.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a research design based on qualitative data collection and analysis related to humanitarian cash programming
- Arrange and conduct key informant interviews with various actors in the cash programming field
- Synthesize qualitative data into a polished research paper in collaboration with the Crisis Analysis Team
Required qualifications
- 5 years) researching humanitarian cash programming, particularly in the Middle East/North Africa region
- 1 year) supporting the Yemen response in cash programming coordination roles
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in political science, international relations, public policy, economics, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience writing research papers published by humanitarian actors or UN agencies
- Excellent English-language analytical writing skills; fluency in Arabic is valued
