Crisis Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor to provide crisis intervention and support services to individuals in emotional distress.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, suicide prevention support, and brief counseling to clients in emotional distress
• Conduct follow-ups with high-risk callers and document client interactions accurately
• Utilize SMS, web chat, and calls to interact with clients and adhere to program policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Forensic Psychology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in behavioral health and/or call center work
• Experience in behavioral health with call center experience is strongly preferred
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Able to attend a 5-week training class without interruptions
