Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor, fully remote in Alabama.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with individuals over the phone to provide support during emotional distress or mental health challenges
• Assess and mitigate risk while maintaining accurate documentation and providing resources as needed
• Intervene during emergencies and assist callers in developing safety plans and positive coping strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
• Minimum of 1 year direct experience in Behavioral Health or Social Services
• Strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral healthcare field
• Experience in crisis support or similar roles is highly valued
• Must have a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace with a stable, wired internet connection
