Job Summary
A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor to provide telephonic support and crisis intervention services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns and provide appropriate resources and safety planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and multitask effectively while navigating multiple software systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Ability to work a full 40-hour schedule and regular availability on weekends and holidays
- Must have a distraction-free, private office space and reliable internet connection
- Successful completion of a six-week paid virtual training cohort is required for continued employment
