Crisis Counselor - GA Licensed

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Crisis Counselor - GA Licensed will provide compassionate emotional support, risk assessment, and crisis intervention services to individuals in distress while maintaining professionalism and clarity in a telephonic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide empathetic telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional distress
• Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
• Ability to work regular weekends and holidays post-training
• Must have a distraction-free, private office space with a locking door
• Reliable hard-wired broadband or fiber internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps
