Job Summary
Providing compassionate support to individuals in crisis, the full-time, fully remote Crisis Counselor - Indiana Licensed will engage with clients over the phone, assess emotional distress, and develop safety plans while maintaining a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage with individuals experiencing emotional distress, providing support and resources over the phone
- Maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace to ensure confidentiality and focus
- Assess risk and document interactions accurately while developing coping strategies for callers
Required qualifications:
- Strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral healthcare field
- Experience in crisis support or similar roles is highly valued
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends
