Crisis Counselor Supervisor

Job Summary

Providing real-time guidance and support to remote volunteer Crisis Counselors, the part-time Crisis Counselor Supervisor will perform active rescues, monitor conversations for quality, and ensure adherence to safety protocols while fostering a positive environment for both counselors and texters.

Key responsibilities

• Perform active rescues when texter safety is at imminent risk
• Monitor volunteer Crisis Counselor conversations for training adherence and quality support
• Provide real-time feedback on conversation quality and assist in developing safety plans for texters

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of crisis intervention work experience beyond volunteerism
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays, up to 12 hours per week
• Stable high-speed internet connection for remote collaboration
