Crisis Counselor Supervisor

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Crisis Counselor Supervisor will monitor volunteer Crisis Counselor conversations, provide guidance and support, and perform emergency interventions to ensure high-quality service delivery to texters in crisis.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor conversations for quality support and adherence to training while providing real-time feedback to volunteer Crisis Counselors
• Perform emergency service interventions when a texter's safety is at imminent risk, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
• Assist in the development of clinical programs and maintain effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional crisis intervention experience beyond volunteerism
• Advanced knowledge of crisis intervention and mental health care trends
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
• Intermediate ability to work with public safety access points and external resources for texter safety
• Intermediate technical skills, including proficiency in G-suite and general computer usage
