Job Summary

To support a vital crisis intervention hotline, the part-time Virtual Assistant will manage incoming calls, provide immediate assistance, and connect individuals to appropriate resources while working remotely and accommodating night shifts and weekends.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer and manage crisis hotline calls, providing immediate support and assistance
  • Triage and assess the needs of callers to offer appropriate crisis intervention
  • Document all calls and interventions accurately in the electronic health record system
Required qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Courses in psychology, sociology, or related fields are highly preferred
  • Experience in a mental health or crisis intervention setting is a plus
  • Must be willing to work night shifts and weekends to support the 24/7 operation
  • Proven experience as a virtual assistant or crisis hotline operator
