Crisis Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crisis Specialist to provide real-time support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to behavioral health crises using trauma-informed, de-escalation techniques
• Conduct suicide and safety risk assessments and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
• Complete timely documentation and participate in case reviews and quality improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of behavioral health experience (case management, crisis response, care coordination, counseling, etc.)
• Crisis center, emergency department, or mobile crisis experience strongly preferred
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize member safety
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
