Job Summary
To support a 24/7 crisis line, the remote Crisis Specialist I - AZ Licensed will receive, respond to, and triage crisis and healthcare requests, ensuring safety and coordinating care while documenting interactions in an electronic health record.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to incoming crisis and healthcare service requests, coordinating care through various communication methods
- Screen and triage crisis requests using risk assessment tools to ensure safety and effective resolution
- Provide health education and community resources based on interventions, while maintaining accurate documentation of all interactions
Required qualifications
- Minimum GED/High School diploma with four years of full-time behavioral health work experience, or equivalent education/experience
- Preferred experience in behavioral health and contact center environments
- Knowledge of Medicaid managed care and behavioral health systems in relevant states
- Experience working with the LGBTQ+ youth population is a bonus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
