Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Critical Incident Communications Specialist will manage communications regarding technical support services, collaborate with various teams to provide timely updates during incidents, and prepare written summaries for a broad audience.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively monitor and investigate technical incidents, preparing accurate summaries and updates for stakeholders
- Bridge communication gaps between technology and non-technology teams, adapting messaging as needed
- Facilitate daily meetings, coordinating discussions and documenting follow-up items to ensure effective communication
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience (required)
- 5+ years of relevant experience in communications or incident management (required)
- Expert command of formal and business writing principles
- Familiarity with ITIL standards and best practices for incident management
- Working knowledge of IT systems and tools such as Dynatrace and ServiceNow
