Crop Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crop Underwriter to support agents and internal teams throughout the policy lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and apply RMA regulations and maintain knowledge of deadlines related to crop insurance
• Accurately enter, review, and audit policy information in underwriting systems
• Build and maintain professional relationships with agents and provide training and support

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor's degree is a plus
• One to three years of relevant experience in underwriting, insurance processing, agriculture, or customer service
• Prior crop insurance experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn underwriting systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
