Cryptocurrency EDD Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cryptocurrency Enhanced Due Diligence Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform enhanced due diligence reviews on new and existing clients in the crypto ecosystem to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Serve as a subject matter expert on EDD, KYC, BSA, and AML regulations, maintaining accurate records of due diligence reviews
• Lead risk analysis efforts, assessing client profiles and transactions to identify potential financial crimes and manage associated risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience in EDD reviews
• Experience in KYC compliance at a large financial institution or crypto MSB/VASP is preferred
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications, along with AML risks related to cryptocurrency and payments
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, including FinCEN regulations and the Bank Secrecy Act
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently while demonstrating strong analytical and organizational skills
