Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time hybrid Commercial Lines Department Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional client service, and support employee development while managing a small book of business in Enfield, CT or Kingston, NY.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support Commercial Lines Account Managers to foster a collaborative team environment
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring policy accuracy, workflow efficiency, and adherence to agency standards
- Conduct regular account audits and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with agency procedures and industry best practices
Required qualifications:
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Minimum of 7 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience, including accounts in New York and Connecticut
- Previous leadership or team development experience required
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management principles
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred
