CU Financial Operations Consultant

Job Summary

Enhancing the settlement and accounting knowledge of member credit unions, the full-time CU Financial Operations Consultant will develop and deliver training, assist with portfolio conversions, and provide ongoing support remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-conversion analysis of member credit union general ledger systems and map accounts to settlement applications
• Serve as the primary contact for member credit union staff regarding settlement processes and provide training and support post-conversion
• Maintain quality assurance by reviewing credit union procedures and recommending improvements to minimize financial liability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum five (5) years of Omaha Settlement experience
• Three (3) years of experience in Visa/MasterCard industry services
• Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly advanced Word and Excel skills
• Experience in communicating with all levels of internal and external organizations
