Culinary Arts Adjunct

Job Summary

To support student learning in culinary arts, the part-time Culinary Arts Adjunct will plan, organize, and teach courses in various formats while providing timely feedback and engaging with students outside of class.

Key responsibilities

• Create a learning environment that facilitates student acquisition of knowledge and skills
• Align course activities with learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies to foster engagement
• Deliver instruction and conduct assessments while adhering to college policies and providing meaningful feedback

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's in culinary arts or associate's in culinary arts with demonstrated competency in the teaching field
• Two years of related occupational experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in an electronic format
• Teaching experience at the college level is preferred
• Knowledge of Canvas or other learning management systems is a plus
